Club internal competitions draw for 2022 season, Wednesday 11 May, 19:00
This week’s main event at the Bletchingley Bowling Club is the draw for the first rounds of this season’s internal club competitions. There have been a huge number of entries this year, with over two hundred confirmed entries across all competitions. As we finally start coming back to normality after the pandemic, your support is really appreciated – at £2.50 per competition it may not seem like much, but all those £2.50s really add up!
Most Popular Competitions
The most popular mixed competitions are the Mixed 100 Up and the Jordan Trophy with twenty-two entries each. The Men’s Singles and Jack Davie Handicap are also well supported, with nineteen entries apiece. This year we have seven full playing ladies entered, which allows us to revert back to a straight draw as opposed to last year’s round-robin format.
Apart from the draw itself, which will be MC’ed by our Competitions Secretary Graham B (ably assisted by the random number generator formerly known as ERNIE) there will be nibbles, and the bar will be open!
